And everyone loves Cookie Clicker.
So I was wondering.... Is it possible to merge the two games together? A platformer with cookie-clicker ideas and concepts?
That got me thinking.
Imagine a sidescrolling platformer that's set, let's say, in a junkyard, in which the main obstacles were incredibly high walls and, every minute or so, a small rubbish/refuse box fell down from the sky.
Now the player can either wait until enough boxes generate until they can scale the wall or salvage the insides of the box and sell them. They can then buy upgrades such as quicker spawning boxes/ heavier boxes which do more damage if they land on an enemy/ a higher probability of rarer items inside the box.
So you've got a game which you can play two different ways. You can either be incredibly patient or take a gamble.
I think it'd be quite fun.
